I have been meaning to post this up for ever but i just never got the chance to blog about it. Lady Gaga has created a 9 minutes feature , a short film that to me is amazing. I love it because it is pushing the envelope and through music Gaga is sending a message. Also she pays respect to pop divas, Madonna, Janet Jackson and Britney spears. The film is depicted in black and white with red accent . Gaga is the only female in the video surrounded by half- naked mall dancers scantly clothes.
Lady Gaga to me has two major themes that she is portraying vividly in this video. First a message about Gay soldiers. through out the video the male dancers have on helmets and combat boots but are dancing in a way that would be suggested to be homosexual. Gaga says she is pushing that the policy "Don't ask , Don't tell" in the military is not just. Gaga believes that homosexuals should be able to state there sexuality and be comfortable in there skin. Also, Gaga addresses the idea of sexuality for women. Through out the video she is scantily clothed and she does this to show that the sexuality of a woman does not have to be raunchy , it can be art. To me this video is exquisite and one of a kind. I completely agree with the messages that are portrayed in this video and this is why i support it.
