Wearing a mask can show your personality

I remember I met this Muslim woman at my job who I ended up being friends with, but I never saw her face before (talk about wearing a "mask" at work right?). We never ate lunch together because she had to take off her veil (I don't know what its called), and no male could see her face. She was a pretty cool person to speak to, and we got along pretty well considering our differences; she was probably my opposite in almost every aspect, and we had very different backgrounds. It seems that wearing a mask forced me to only focus on only her personality, and she had a pretty cool one. It was interesting because the mask games we usually play were futile, because you could never see her facial expressions.

All that I know was that she was white, blond (sometimes a few strands would stick out of her head scarf), and pretty tall. Some employees there would give her weird looks and laugh at the way she dressed, basically something that you might do if you were maybe, 10-11 years old. It looked pretty ignorant, but at the same time some people had funny jokes... There was this one professor who was a jerk, and he loved being a jerk --to students and colleges alike. He once saw her and made a typical kung-fu sounding noise (hiyya!), and said he thought she was a ninja. (she wore all black all the time) Everyone around started laughing, but she was quite upset. She brought the issue up to HR but nothing happened.
