There was this one lady from the admissions department that was incredibly paranoid about letting people touch her computer. She was very adamant about knowing exactly what you're doing and if she really, really needed to step out of her office, I could hear her outside saying something in an anxious tone like "Okay, okay, I gotta get back to my office, threes a tech on my computer".
I'd laugh to myself most of the time, but there were times it got annoying. As IT support, I have access to almost any office as long as I have a reason to access the computer -- so I would love when I'd be there without her to do my job (something really simple), and let her know only when I was done. She'd be incredibly annoyed that I was in there aaallll alone, and she couldn't watch my every move. I used to love doing that to her; I would sometimes even choose to work on other tickets first just so that I can maybe catch her out of the office.
As I said before, working with a diverse group of people can be fun and annoying at times, but I think the annoyances are more than worth the overall experiences. There was a good analogy on SouthPark: The planet earth is actually a comedy show that aliens on other planets watch, and humans, lions, sharks, buffalo, etc. actually come from other planets where there is only one type of species... Yeah its not realistic, but I get the point.
