Oohhh.... facebook, facebook, facebook. I havent accessed my facebook account in a couple of weeks. Now why is that? In class we discussed how people may be using facebook to express feelings and emotions, or just say things that they normally would not say to others in their face. I prefer to interact with people face to face, but that's because I'm a people person. I'm extremely social and sometimes it gets mistaken for flirtacious behavior, but heck who cares as long as I know what the deal is. I felt like I was put on the spot today in class. The whole idea of the interview made me nervous at first, but I think I immediately got over it. I still haven't watched it. There is something about me and the idea of being on camera that I don't like, but I think I'm going to watch it after this.
I contacted my cousin in Ecuador via email to see if she can scan me some pictures of my grandparents. I hope she can. Otherwise, I'm going to have to use my parents. I'm not too sure what history I can get except that there really has never been a family connection. Everyone pretty much made their nest and flew away. No one ever bothered to wonder how "this one" or "that one" was doing because the bonds of family were broken at a very early stage. Alienation is what describes the history of my family.
This project is going to be very interesting......
