I have came to the conclusion that the new knowledge keeper is the search engine. In this day in age the conventional class room is gone. We have moved into a new self-taught environment that can set us in a "go getter attitude". In the past teachers were the main resource of knowledge. Now we can just simply look up something on Google which speeds up the process. This new culture of accessibility to information 24 7. Now the teacher has turned more into a mentor and a guider than a instruction because you-tube and Google answers can teach students concepts. Mind you with out yahoo answers I don't know how I would pass chemistry because it simplified complex concepts from the text book. Technology from the new Ipad to the virtual classroom is shaping how the new generation will learn.
