3D Nation

In class we have been using the program Sketch-Up , which I totally like. Its like the Build - Mode in Sims except 10 times more sophisticated. Its a great program to use because the ability use of the use of creativity in the program. You can virtually make anything and it is a great tool to learn with the revolution of technology going on. 3D is now affecting many aspects in our lives. Our culture is turning 3D. For Example, The movie theater industry is moving a plethora of its large films into 3D. This is because most Americans can create the "movie atmosphere" at their own homes, so people feel like they are wasting their money going to a theater. But with the creation of 3d films , the audience feels like the have to go to a theater to get the full experience of the film. This is where the money is ! 3D films typically gross double to triple regular films. Avatar the highest grossing film this year making $749,307,000! And this is just for movies. Gamers have been cashing on the 3d market with Halo and other games that use games as a virtual reality. 3D is great for architect , product making, designing, games and movies and I predict will be the next greatest staple in our society.
