Competition for graduate schools and jobs in todays economy is certainly tough. This puts a lot of stress on college students to do well in classes. Why is it so that even though many college students study hard all week long, they still fail to get a perfect score in the class. This not only increases the stress of college students but also demoralizes them.
The only thing college students have to look forward to is to "wild out" on party nights. Most of the times, thursday nights are the most happening nights of the week. From personal experience, typical college parties constitute of drinking, hookah, smoking, dancing, flirting and maybe even some romance.
However, how safe is a college party? Imagine a small 1 bedroom apartment full with over 100 college students, perhaps drunk and high. There are always fights going down and no one there to tell people when to stop drinking, with the usual "unlimited supply of beer and jungle juice." Because the more alcohol the host of the party has, the more people will come and this simply means getting more money. Not only are the parties a safety hazard, but the alcohol and the smoking can cause severe health issues.
Unfortunately, many college students beleive that drinking allows them to open up to more people, get to know more people and make friends. This causes many freshmens espcially to start drinking and smoking and after four years, it simply becomes a habbit. Even after college, many people continue with such habbits and there's no one to say whats right or whats wrong....
