Silly bands.

You may wonder what are silly bands? Silly bands are basically the latest sensation that has everyone from elementary school kids to college students wanting to collect them. They come in different shapes and colors and serve as braceltes. Shapes range from many animals to different different shapes. The bands themselves are made from rubber band.

Before silly bands, another sensation was sex bracelets. Basically different colors represented how far you have gone. Its so interesting to see something so little, and easy can create such a big sensation in such little time. However, the most amazing thing about silly bands is no matter how much you stretch them, they always come in back in their shape and form. Kids all over, buy big packets of silly bands and compare them with their friends. My younger cousins tell me, how its become so much fun, because they trade with their friends. A similar popular thing during the late 90's was pokemon cards.

However, many schools have banned silly bands, because children are using them as sling shots. They pins, thump tacks and other stuff on the bands, stretch them out and fling them across the classroom in schools. Unfortunately, no matter how hard school officials try to enforce rules its going to be hard to control kids from wearing silly bands. No one is going to stand in front of schools on the main entrance to check every students whether or not they have silly bands on them. This is the latest crazy among children and its already so popular, and its popularity is only going to increase in the coming time.
