new kicks

i am searching for a pair of new shoes. i am a converse junkie and have way too many. i could own stock in flip flops because i have a 30 gallon rubbermaid bin full of them. my recent obsession is boat shoes, and i haven't gone overboard, no pun intended, with those yet. i think i want to venture a little outside my comfort zone to a pair of high tops. i don't know which brand, but i want them to be a bit adventurous. i'm not afraid of neon, shiny, or strappy. kinda down for anything as long as they don't make me look like i have tree trunks for legs. thick legs are something that runs in my family and let's just keep it at that. if you couldn't tell, they are an area of concern for me, so that will be the major decision maker if i purchase a pair or go with my better judgement and not. we'll see how it goes.
