Movies

I went to go see the new Karate kid movie. I’m a fan of the karate kid movies and wanted to see how the remake would hold up. I was impressed. I like the fact that it was filmed in china, I think or at least it showed several, beautiful areas of china. The seeing the “great wall of china” was beautiful. The story line did not change much. I went with my son. He wanted to see it too. After the movie he pretty much believed he was his own kung fu instructor. People were laughing and found it funny, but I was having trouble making him understand that his kicks were uncoordinated enough to hurt someone else.
I also saw Eclipse. I’m a fan of the twilight saga, but I’m not a crazy fan. I laughed so hard because when the part came when Jacob (Taylor Lautner), the guy all the girls go crazy for, came on screen without a shirt on every girl in the theatre was screaming like they were in a concert. I laughed and laughed because most of the women were not only teenagers, which would be understandable, they were grown women over the age of 22. Many were even in their late 30-40’s. I couldn’t believe it.
