We talked about this in class a few times: too much information. People hold different opinions on when to call it "too much" though. Some people call it too much when you're reading about someone being in the bathroom, or being told what they're eating at the moment. That sounds like too much information, but that can happen even when there isn't much to read --all it takes is for some prick to write about it because she/he has nothing better to do.
I think the "too much" line has been crossed when you read the same story in 9-10 different places. To me, that's when things are really saturated and bloated. There are some blogs that try to spice the story up or get a more interesting picture to present the title, but you can usually tell. Then you have websites whose sole purpose is to prune websites for relevant information for you. There's also those sites that put all your favorites on a dynamic page, and alerts you when something new has been posted on any of your favorite blogs all in one place, so that you don't have to go through all the toil of typing the in the URL. Its great for everyone to be able to get their opinion out there, and in so many creative ways and forms, but, its getting pretty annoying to read them.
