High Prices

Health care reform just passed and I'm not sure how I feel about it. With that being said, I am one of the fortunate people that has health insurance. However, I see how expensive it is for my father every month to pay for the family's coverage. Even though we are insured, the price of that insurance is astronomical. However, I know that even so, it is cheaper in the long run if any of us got seriously ill. At least we have something to protect us, and I really do feel for those that are honest, hardworking individuals who cannot afford the insurance. It is a tough world out there, and I am glad that I don't have to foot the bill for my own insurance yet. I know that that day will come in the not so distant future, and honestly, I worry. I hope that my education affords me a wonderful job with great benefits that include health and dental insurance. I can't imagine being ill and not being able to do anything about it due to fear of not being able to pay the bill. I don't feel that I am informed enough to make a judgement about the new health care bill one way or the other, but I do know I am glad I don't have to worry about it yet.
