Steady as she goes

Sometimes I really hate how things are spread out in the course of the school year. I don't mind the workload (most of the time) but I hate how everything that is important (as far as grades are concerned) and packed into like two weeks worth of monotony. Midterms and Finals.

I can understand the premise of it, and it really is a good idea. On paper. In practice, it's horrifying. The biggest tests in every subject are all around the same time, and teachers not only know this, but jockey for the positions of 'this test is most important you can't let anything overwhelm you my test is most important so don't forget and don't fail or I'll be really disappointed I'M MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU THAN ANYONE ELSE DON'T LEAVE ME WAH.'

It makes me glad there isn't a test in this class, at least.
