I belive we have left teh age of calling someone a square and pushing them down at the bus stop. The age of bulling has progressed rapidly. my HS had 600 students, and the attached MS had approximately 350. having the schools attached and being a small community, gossip spread fast. Even faster was news of a fight, or the newest drama. What i've seen of the growing age group is an overflow of connectiveness. Facebook, twitter, and texting are keeping these 12 to 18 year olds surounded 24/7.
I've noticed that the bullying is becoming prevalent on the web. From there, the bullies bring it up in the real world, pushing their victums to the next level. They know the wearabouts of their prey and their constant eye should worry everyone.
When I was in MS, someone printed a changed image of me and posted it around school. Not only were they calling me names, they where spreading their superiority inside reality and the virtual world.
