Midterm

This midterm for me really made me learn a lot about my life and life in general. The video's and photo's made me really see life rather than just look at it. Photo's and video's capture every moment we live. They don't let any moment run away. Life sometimes can be truly reflected through the eyes of the camera.It records the feelings written on human faces. It captures the beauty of the earth that man has inherited and portrays the evolution of one man to another.
In my project i tried to capture and portray all these moments in my life. The development of my family over the years, the things that make us who we are in life today and different textures of time. All these textures of time are so important to capture and mean so much because as time goes by things are vanishing and when they have vanished, there is nothing in this world that can make them come back. Through images of our lives that are passing we can hold that moment for longer. As well as that images allow us to to see things sometimes our eyes don't permit us to see. Ya some will argue camera's can't capture the true beauty or meaning of something but sometimes the image we have in our memories can be enhanced with the image captured in the memory of the camera.
Sometimes in the busy lifestyle of so many today, they miss the true meaning of a moment. The only way to really see something is by pausing a while and really looking at what is going on. Photo's can help us do this by capturing what we miss.
