Thwarted with a hug

tl;dr : A professor / Pulitzer prize winning photographer halted a bank robbery by bear hugging the bank robber. Not putting him in a sleeper hold, not going Bruce Lee and smacking the hell out of him, not even doing anything violent. He hugged him. Just a hug.

I guess violence is overrated.
