Midterm Post

Just some pictures from last weeks midterm. The Aki group I was part of set up a projector and bendy cloth under one of the Staller balconies and started playing around. We started by playing with one of the Jitter programs on the brown background and white cloth in between. Then Matt started tricking by the laptop camera which projected onto the wall and cloth. His natural speed could not be captured by the camera and only bits were translated onto the wall. This was a great perspective of virtualism vs materialism since whatever natural actions we tried to express through the machine came out as something different and it could not capture all of natural actions
