duck

I saw this image i immediate starting to think about the lecture that we had recently relating to space and texture and to me this picture incorporates both. Though the shot in centered creating vast amounts on space on both sides of the subject, the texture makes it come alive, forcing you to ignore the boring waste land and focus to the angles and texture of the duck. To me the contours of the duck really comes alive in this picture and the beak becomes a focal point, whereas in a normal centered shot the beak would go unnoticed
