DAD

Soo this is my Dad. When it comes to Vital Materialism he thinks there is nothing vital about it. He says in the old days when you wanted an answer to a question you had to go to the library and find a book that might or might not have the answer. Now all you have to do is google it and you have two thousands hits that all answer your question, even in different languages. There is so much information out there but we choose what is important enough to learn. Is it more important to know whats going on around the world today or to go on twitter to see what paris hilton is doing right at this second. It is like anything else where great power comes great responsibility. I think people don't appreciate the internets ability to change their lives. The power it has over people is ridiculous. Its just like anything else where if you get so used to it you forget how your life would be without it. Its almost as if the internet has become a drug for people to get their high. Thats pretty much all my thoughts for tonight.
