Meeting the Quota
Do you ever feel like you just don't have anything new to add? I once heard a quote that explained that any "original" idea you have is probably not original at all. Invariably, someone else in this big world has had the same thoughts on a subject as you have. Does that mean we should stop trying to come up with the next big thing, or participate in discussion, solely for the reason that we didn't come up with anything groundbreaking? Of course not! Even with 6.5 billion people in this world, there is only one of each of us, and all of us have an interesting perspective on all things. Who cares if you didn't invent the concept of capitalism? What is important is what your theory is to improve upon what is already in place. Every idea matters, every person matters, so say what you think!
