Imagery

These images I found are very creative in the sense of how two (the car & hotel room) are man made to make something ordinary into something extraordinary and how the tree already like that was shaped into a person by it's natural being.

optical illusions

I always thought these kind of pictures were amazing to look at. I also think the last one with the drink is an amazing way to advertise.

Little things

The saying, the little things in life are important is actually true. I pretty much rushed to my morning class just to get a good spot. No I'm not that person that wants the front row & be that nerdy/teacher's pet kind of person. I want that chair all the way up in the back that isn't a desk & not attached to a chair. I want the chair that is actually a chair and is free from the desk. It feels more comfortable, plus these deskchair things make a noise even if you write notes. I'm just extremely happy now that I got my chair and it is the little things that make me happy, oh and if I didn't get this chair I probably would of left the class oh well.

Abstract

As we talk in class I believe this is art. Art is expressing a feeling, place, situation and not being able to explain it in words. Most things in life you can't explain what you want to say so through different colors, lines, through the picture it makes you almost get what the person is trying to say.

Cool pics

These pictures struck my eye. The ways the colors and lines flow together in each picture is really interesting. Abstract pictures I think can give so many different meanings.

people

No offense to anyone who reads this and lives in Long Island. That is my warning. I don't mind it out here and I don't mind the school. The people some how... are very different out here. They seem to keep to themselves and not as friendly as I would think. I'm from a small county in NY, rockland county, and people there are very open, down to earth and fun to be around. Here I feel like I have to be a certain fit or image to get along. The people I mostly come across and like are people who don't even live here. I love people in Europe, the most outgoing, caring, fun, craziest people you would ever meet. I think it has to do with people living on an Island to feel tough lol I don't know. I'm just stating my opinion and LI people... I don't know man.

rain

This weather is horrible. It's funny to see people all social and loving life when it's sunny then bam! everyone goes into a mild depression when it's raining. It's SSDD just with rain people need to stop being so picky on when to be happy or not. Yeah the weather is gloomy but I think everyone needs to keep going through the day like it was a nice sunny day and stop caring.

efew

I am free of no midterms. well for this class but no written midterms that is. Written midterms are a waste of time. You just remember it then it all goes away right after the test they are pointless. Being happy in midterm week as everyone else is depressed from all the studying is weird...I feel like a person that's stuck in a zombie world where everyone is gone and locked in their rooms as I roam the campus. People need to be less stressed and I hate how college does that to you. Glad spring break is coming up

SBU vs UI

Last night was pretty crazy. Being front row at the Stony Brook Vs. Illinois in a "hostile" environment that the announcer said stony brook was, was electrifying. A bunch of drunk college students and fans of stony brook on national television was pretty cool to be apart of. Seeing our team play against a big known school and actually do pretty well was amazing to watch. Even though we lost it still was the best feeling to see everyone be as one apart of this experience. And another plus was I got on T.V.
