Yesterday I was driving back to NYC from Stony Brook, and I saw the sunset, it was soo beautiful. Looking at scenic images always relaxes me. Maybe thats why meditation is sometimes done in natural places. Like during the sunrise hearing the water, and listening to nature's talk. Did you ever close your eyes and just listen. Ignore all the voices, except the ones we hear everyday. The voices we sometimes forget about. The bird's chirping, the leaves rustling, the wind.

Planting

I finally got the chance to plant he myriad of flowers my Dad brought.

It was actually pretty nice to actually go outside and do something for a change. I mean, running errands or hopping in the car or getting from class to class is all well and good, but I haven't actually gone outside for the hell of it in what seems like forever. Planting just happened to be the best excuse to do so.

So now my front yard looks pretty, I actually got some Vitamin D, and I saved two little oak trees the squirrels forgot about planting.
