Snow

This snow storm is amazing. There are no other ways to describe how amazing snow storms are then just purely amazing. Yes classes were cancelled, but the site of a snow storm and the beauty of it is just a great attraction to the eye. I like how the snow piles on the trees making an atmosphere that is beautiful to see. One thing that I feel ruins the moment is the technology of plows, snow blowers, and another gasoline devices getting rid of the snow. As much as I love how easy it is to move the snow with a snow plow it ruins the nature. Seeing gray slush in the walk ways and chemicals dumped on the sidewalks really get to me in how we try to get rid of something. I am certainly not a tree hugger/ green power nazi that feels the world would come to an end from technology. Yet I feel we need cleaner ways of getting rid of the snow. I can’t believe hearing back then you could eat the snow and make snow cones. Now...if you happen to eat the snow you don’t know what you are consuming. Like I said snow is beautiful as well as nature, but I feel there needs a better way to compromise with nature’s disaster then creating human disaters of gas guzzling devices to fix a problem.
