My Journey

The natural world is an uncanny illustration of my personal philosophical journey. I take a hike every Saturday, awaiting the new surprises that I might see. As I am walking through the woods, I take a bumpy path, consisting of twists and turns. Each hike becomes a peregrination through life. I always begin with rough, uneven surfaces, but soon find myself on a trail of excitement and surprises. Every step forward is risky because I am literally walking along an edge. No matter how difficult each novel terrain is to navigate, the sheer knowledge that these challenges are surmountable renews my zeal to press forward. At the end of the trail there is a waterfall, a place where each heart beat is in tune with every splash. The surge of water is a constant reminder of how effort has lead me here. With all these efforts combined like each water droplet is combined to form the river, I can make every step become a part of something great, something endless, like the waterfall.
