These new tags that the government and retail stores are using these days are insane. These chips can provide information of the product and basically gives an identity to whatever its attached to. I listened to a podcast earlier and the sound of it kind of worries more. They say its great to give information if injected into a human for medical reasons and identification purposes. However, later listening into the pod cast they reveal that these RFID tags are nothing more then mere signals that constantly give out information once charged after going through a special scanner. Information can be expected to contain rights to prescriptions, identification, contacts, history, and etc.

I feel that technology is becoming more and more like the fear in minority report. Where our lives are perpetually under surveillance. Wouldn't it be weird to be walking and someone just scans you and has your whole life on record? I mean a hacker retrieved information from these RFID tags as if it was a joke. Later, he took that information and bypassed as if he was someone else and gained access to a place he wasn't allowed to be. I've been thinking about the new fears that this may present to the world and what corruption it might propose to the future.
