March Madness

So it’s almost that time again. It’s known simply as March Madness and is the most exciting time of the year in college basketball. Unfortunately, Stony Brook students wouldn’t know much about it since our team is subpar. But I still love it because the players seem to always get better and the games get much more tighter. What makes this time even more exciting are the various contests that are offered by ESPN and Yahoo. The object of the contest is to predict the winner of each game. Ever since 10th grade I have been filling out my brackets for a chance to win the $10,000 grand prize. Last year I finished in 180,000th place out of a few million. During one point of the contest I was ranked 3,000th out of a lot of people. I really hope I can do better this year.
