The Life before her eyes

Last night I watched possibly one of the best films I have seen in a very long time. It is one of those movies that left me bewildered yet intrigued about the whole film. I was so fascinated and eager to know what really happened, I jumped straight on the internet the minute the film ended. The film, starring Uma Thurman, Evan Rachel Wood and Eva Amurri,is such an eerie, daunting and creative film. It is just so well thought out. Without giving too much away i will give you a brief summary of what it is about.
The film revolves around one girl's life, Diana, after herself and her friend are involved in a Columbine-like school shooting incident at their high school. Both friends are forced by the killer to make a decision as who will be permitted to live and who will die. Both Uma Thurman and Eva Rachel Wood play Diana. Uma Thurman, playing the older figure of Diana, is a haunted figure that experienced the whole high school shooting at the age of 18. She is married with her loving husband and rebellious ten-year old daughter. The film floats us back and forth between past and present of Diana's life as it falls apart. As it does, it drops us clues as to what is really going on with Diana but at the same time it leaves it up to us to unravel the puzzle.
I really haven't told you much there but I don't want to ruin the story for you. Everyone will have his or her own ideas as to what is really going on. You probably will think it's crap but I personally thought it was unreal so sorry if I waist you're time. I really would recommend it though!
