Family Matters

The Laker- Celtic game is on in the background. And No one is watching it. I remember when all five members of my family use to watch every sporting event together. It was a backdrop for us to bond. My family now has all grown up and grown apart. I'm the "lost child”, the one that has a little bit off brains and sport ability but a lot of ambition. Which disconnects me to my brother and sister who my parents feel have the "tangible” talents. My brother is very intelligent. He is in an accelerated High school where he will receive his associate’s degree and his high school diploma in one. My sister is one of the best soccer players in the state. Now I feel as each parent has a favorite and I am just the odd ball out . LOL it is kind of funny. But as a whole my family is not together, no more eating on the dinner table together or going for family bike rides and it saddens me. And to top that off I feel that now my family has spent so much time without me, they alienate me from the family in some ways. But I suppose this is just a part of growing up .

Family

Just some photos of my grandparents. My grandfather passed away and his photos are now just memories of him. I will always remember him no matter what happens in life and thank God for a wonderful family.

Family

Sometimes I feel I don’t give enough time to my family. Life moves so fast and when you look back sometimes you feel that you’ve missed out on a lot because you just couldn’t get enough time out for those you love the most in your life. You work so hard in everything you do and sometimes it’s just so hard to spare even two minutes out of our busy lives just to give a call to someone and say hi. We live in the fast moving city of New York so it’s obvious that there’s always going to be something that we’re supposed to be doing. It’s nice to take a break when you have the least amount of work to do and spend it with your family. Your parents spend all their time working so that they could pay off your tuition of pay off your expenses so the least we could do is devote one Saturday every once in a while to cut back relax and enjoy some quality time with them. Sometimes it’s not those expensive gifts you get them that make them happy but instead it’s those few hours you spend with them that give them the most happiness in life.

Family Photos Gimped

These are some photos of times before I was even born. I'm getting the hang of gimp the more and more I use it. It's kind of addicting. I love it. Making photos look totally different than the originals and adding special effects is cool. It's so much fun. It's definitely a great program and even better since it's free!

GIMP it upp!

Old photos of my parents gimpified

My parents have been married for about 36 years. They are the best and I love them very much. I don't know what I would do without them. These are some old photos of them that I played around with in gimp.
