I love reading web comics such as cyanide and happiness or xkcd. this one i found to be particularly funny in my half-asleep state.

Laptop
http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=49255
This is a laptop that I found while randomly surfing the internet. It seems interesting but I'm not sure if it would be completely practical. It folds up which is convenient... but trying to use it? I don't know if that would be easy.

Truth
I am not going to lie, I am running out of things to write about and I am trying so hard. I actually went out and got ice cream in the middle of coming up with things to write about. I got crunch dibs. I got some Cookies and Cream ice cream for one of my friends. Now I'm sitting on his bed trying to think of more topics to write about for this blog.
Coincidence?
My name is Shane Collette. The girl that I sit next to in ACH's name is Colette. In class Baldwin kept calling her Shannon. Shannon is my sister's name. He was calling Colette Shannon when I have a sister named Shannon Collette. I thought it was a strange coincidence. I then decided that Colette and I should not get married because then her name would be Colette Collette and that would just not be normal.
Personality
I took a personality test the other day. Usually I wouldn't think anything of it. But this one's results were spot on. It got down everything about me, things that i knew were true but never attributed them to myself because i didnt like the way they sounded. but after taking this test i realized that it is all true.
Twister Fail.
One time I was playing twister with my friend and her cousin. We were all tangled up and finally my friend slipped. She ended up jabbing her cousin in the eye with her big toe. She screamed and covered her eye. She goes "I can't see!" so i instinctively said "your hand is over your eye!" and she goes "I still can't see" to which i responded "your eye is closed!" She ended up being ok but it was hilarious at the time.
Exams
The end of the year is coming, and that means finals. I was wondering today why they make us take such big tests at the end of the year when every one is just burnt out. Then I realized, they're testing us on what we've learned and there would be no reason to go on any longer if there were no more exams. So I hate them, but there is a purpose to them. :-\
Chess
In high school I was part of the chess club. I know... Lame right? But it was fun, there weren't many people and it was made of a group of my friends. We weren't very competitive, we just liked to hang out a little while after school with a reason. Chess is fun and that's why we decided to make the chess club. We did have a tournament at the end of the year, I came in second to an asian. He was way too good.
Nicknames
I'm not sure how many people actually do this, but I always make up nicknames for people I see but never actually talk to. There are these two people that are in my Bio class that are constantly making out with each other, so my friend and I call them the siamese twins. There is a woman that always comes into work and orders a milkshake made with only one scoop of ice cream. We call her one-scoop. I feel like every one makes up nicknames for these people. There are so many people that you see all the time but you don't actually know.
Customers...
One time I was at work (I work at an ice cream shop) and it had been slow all day. My friend that I was working with was going to leave work for a few minutes to go get our friend to come be with us. I agreed since there were no customers. So she leaves. A few minutes go by and at least 20 people come in and I'm all alone and I have to serve them all. Then more people come in. Then more. Then I finally get through all of them. Then my friends come back and I asked them what took them so long. Apparently my friend's car broke down in the middle of a busy intersection. That day was full of bad luck.
Transferring
Since coming to school I have made many friends. I want to go home and see all my old friends but I don't want to leave my new ones behind. The sad part is, some of them won't even be here when I return. It's hard to make friends if you know that soon you won't see them any more. Of course, it's easy to make friends with them, it's just hard because you don't want to get too attached. Sometimes you can't help it though and they become people that you see every day, that is, until they leave.
Really?
Don't you hate when you tell some one something but then they go ahead and mention it to some one else. Some times you don't specifically say not to tell any one... but still common sense would dictate that it might be one of those things you don't spread around. Which I guess isn't really their fault, it is kind of your fault. But still, it's not a happy experience.
