Rate My Professor

In class, Professor Baldwin expressed his disdain for the website, ratemyprofessors.com. While every job offers criticism and feedback, it must be difficult to have virtually the whole world gain access to it. In addition, it is of my belief that those who use the website are biased people. Just as in the process of voting, apathy does not cause action. Someone who has had either a really good experience, or a really poor experience is going to be motivated to use the site, while those in the middle more than likely will not. I feel for the professors who get poor reviews that are unwarranted and without merit. For some reason, people have the tendency to believe every negative word said about them, and take the positive words with a grain of salt. I hope that those who do get negative reviews are able to take them in stride and not worry. It seems that these dayss, everybody is a critic.
