It's pretty hard not to know about the whole Tiger Woods scandal. It's on the radio every morning, in magazines everywhere you look, and all over the television. I, like many others awaited to hear the apology he gave Friday morning which was his first public statement since whole incident was made public the day before Thanksgiving. I thought his speech was as sincere as it could have gotten. He made some pretty valid points in his speech regarding the media and their ridiculous invasion of privacy to his family. Like what good could possibly come out of following his 2 year old daughter to school. Do the paparazzi think she's going to give some brilliant insight to the marriage complications. I think not. As a child who's gone through the whole divorce situation its hard enough to know your parents are at the breaking point, I can't even fathom the feeling of going through that with your parents being national icons.
I think people really do need to give him a break about the cheating. Yes 11 mistresses is a bit extreme but like he said, which many famous people do believe, he thought he was above the rules. When you're that rich and talented I can definitely see where you'd lose yourself in the shuffle of greatness. I think the true test will be told with time if he keeps his word. Which I think he will. He knows he really can't get away with scandalous relationships like that anymore, and that the rest of world will be watching to see if he does.
