technology kicks my a$$

Everytime I buy something new, im so happy about it. yes i also do brag about it. but give it a few months before something even better. and you know what? i end up wanting the better item. Sometimes I do end up purchasing the better item. For example, I was the first amongst my friends to have an iphone 2g long ago when it first came out. I loved it, even though people more and more started to purchase the iPhone. Then I read somewhere about the 3g and I was not too impressed but when the 3g actually came out and more and more people started to have the iphone 3g, i had to get one for myself. And so I did. This wasnt the best decision I had made because I spend more money and paid more for my phone bill for a small phone upgrade.
I feel like all im doing is ranting, but it just bothers me that everytime I buy something, it becomes outdated in a few months. When I purchased my computer a year ago, it was almost the best of the best. I was happy to have a quad-core processor with speeds that I never imagined before. Then a few months later the i7 processors were released and it blew away my q9550 processor.
