Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has definitely blown up the past couple years. I must admit I do like some of her music and her tv show on the Disney channel I could see as being entertaining for a younger audience seeing as my little brothers thoroughly enjoyed watching it. She has a huge fan base that adore her, majority being younger but her actions and statements lately just baffle me and make me like her less.
I was reading some interviews she had done and one of the questions was "What is your favorite Jay-Z song?" referring to one of the lines in her song Party In The U.S.A. She responded ignorantly "Oh that's the writers writing that stuff." Okay Miley that makes you sound like an idiot. Even if you didn't write the song, why not just respond with whatever your favorite Jay-Z song is. Like you can't tell me she doesn't know at least one. I'm not a huge Jay-Z fan but I could definitely name at least 5 songs and of those songs say which is my favorite. Another question I saw answered without any thought was where the reporter stated that Miley's fans had been waiting outside for several hours to get a glimpse of her in New York one night. It was a freezing winter night and snow was on the ground and they asked how she felt about the fans. She simply responded "Aww that's sad." Could she at least show a little compassion for her fans and act appreciative of their dedication. I mean the whole reason why she is even popular is due to them.
I think celebrities should take a seminar every other month or so to keep their ego in check. If I had a bunch of kids cheering for me and waiting for me outside on a winters night to see me I'd run down the line where they were standing and give as many of them as I could a high-five. That sounds cheesey and all but think of how much that would mean to some 12 year old girl. She'd tell that story about me forever and ever! I just think that girl definitely needs to think before she speaks more often since she's in the public eye.
