So Vain

There is something about all of today's social networking sites and blogs that seems terribly self-centered. Call me modest, but I'm not sure if my day to day activities are blog worthy. I'm not being self-deprecating when I say this because I do believe that I have my own unique perspective on things, just as we all do, but at what point does this sharing seem like overkill? I don't need to know via someone's Twitter that they are in the shower, or brushing their teeth, or eating a bowl of cereal. The whole thing just seems a little too self-indulgent to me. Even this post about this topic seems to emphasize my point. I can't say that anyone will read this, and I do believe my opinion matters, but where is the line drawn?
