I always feel like somebody's watchin me...

Today my sister and I had a not so lovely conversation about Facebook. I mentioned how narcissistic a society we have become, thinking that people actually care about what we are doing. She stated, rather nonchalantly that everyone has a stalker, we just don't know it yet. This is pretty disturbing to me. I guess I figured that yes, people can see my profile, but is there someone lurking behind their computer screen, desperate to look at my pictures or know what I did last weekend? I'd like to think I was interesting to people, but the thought of someone watching my every move is rather unsettling. Still, despite this uneasy feeling I got from this conversation, I don't think it is going to make me delete my account or anything like that. It is however, something to think about.
