On The Train

Yesterday on the train, while traveling home from The Tank, I encountered several rowdy men coming back from the Mets game. One man, who was very drunk, as they all were, announced he was on his Bachelor Party celebration, and that he was getting married. One man told him "don't do it!" about marriage, and all of his friends started to laugh and cheer. Despite being obnoxious and intoxicated, the entire population of the train car, including myself, was amused. This young man was about to grow up and get married, and he seemed to be having one last good time with his buddies. I don't think his boys nights will cease just due to marriage, but maybe they won't be as carefree as they once were. I wish that random, drunken man good luck on his life. I think we all do. :)
