nice to see ya?

It is always uncomfortable to see somebody you kind of know but do not really talk to. You kind of half smile but look a way a little bit in case they are not looking. I find this is especially awkward when you cross someone you knew from your past, like acquaintances from high school.

This morning I made eye contact with a someone that I went to high school with. I sort of smiled they looked away. So, me being the barrel of fun that I am enjoy making other people feel awkward. Especially when they were sort of rude in the first place. I make it award and yell out "Hey!" and get an uncomfortable and mumbled "heyhihowareyou?" and I just laugh and walk away.

I do not know if they saw me the first time... but they most likely did, but either way I would have felt rude not saying hi. So just do it.
