"I never think of the future...
It comes soon enough." Those words by Albert Einstein may seem silly, but the genius has some good advice right there. I do believe that preparation for the future is a good thing, but at the end of the day, we should stop worrying about all the future tomorrows and start living today. No matter how hard we wish it wouldn't, time just keeps marching on, and passes all too quickly. When I think back to my childhood, I can remember the years going by but it didn't feel so fast. Now I feel like it was just New Years Eve '09, and I blinked and it's May. As I get older, the faster it seems to go. I wish that wasn't the case. Our lives are just so damn short, it's terrifying. I want to hold onto the time, live more in the present, and have a lot of tomorrows. Unfortunately, no one ever knows when her time is up. I'd hate to think I wasted time solely on school or solely on work, and postponed time with my family and friends because I thought they and I would always be there. I think we all need to get our priorities in order. Today. Not tomorrow.
