Now that college is coming to end I have been trying to reflect on what I have learned. But the truth is that I am not sure that college has taught me that much. Most of what I have learned over the past four years I have learned on my own through personal experience.

Besides learning some digital art programs for my minor, I am not sure what my major has taught me. If anything I definitely learned how to think critically and apply, which is something that my high school totally did not. In high school we learned facts and that we needed to know them and not why or how to apply thought to what we learn. So college has succeed in teaching me that.

But I think that I learned much more about how to be a regular person through working and interning and other life experience. The world of academia is too closed out to the real world. I guess that is why this class was so much better than other classes, we were actually out there weren't we? Ha! Way to go professor... so scratch that, with the exception of this class college did not really prepare me for the real world.
