Avenue Q

I have been listening to the Avenue Q soundtrack a lot lately. I find that cd to really help me de-stress. Besides being quite possibly the funniest musical I have ever seen it also has a good message be hind the film.

Of coarse I would be attracted to any show that the majority of the characters are puppets and has been described as Sesame St. on crack. But the film offers more, it is extremely relatable to people like me who are just finishing college and still have no idea where to go next. The main character Princeton has just finished college and has to face real life and what he learns is that life basically sucks. He later realizes that it is ok that life sucks because nothing is permanent, the last song of the show is about how none of the little things really matter because everything in life is only for now.

I find the message behind the show so true. The hard part is never over you just have to keep on keeping on. I think that everyone should see this show, it is not only ridiculously funny, you also walk away feeling better about you life.
