Working With Gimp

So I thought today's homework assignment was to post 50 edited pictures through Gimp! That's why I worked all night and this morning editing the pictures :O Oh wells...

Although I do have to say, as I previously mentioned in one of my posts, Gimp is pretty amazing. I never worked with photoshop before so I am not sure how much more difficult or easier it is to use then Gimp. First piece of advice I have to give with using Gimp is stick to the FILTERS tab at the beginning to experiment. This tab will create all those cool effects you see all the other students using. Once you click on the tab, it has a list of effects which are pretty self explanatory and nicely organized. For example, the Blur option leads to all the different Blur effects you can do to the picture. Some of my favorite options are DISTORT, ARTISTIC, and Decor. Play around with those for a bit and you'll see why they're some of the coolest options, at least that's my opinion.

If you need specific help, as in how to do a specific effect let me know! I may be able to help.
