Wireless Connection in Stony Brook

I want to know why Stony Brook's wireless connection is never fully running at its best. The system is fairly new but it has been giving problems since it was installed in the residence halls. Wolfie Net is always being disconnected on my laptop even though some big modem, router, or whatever it is, is on my ceiling in my room. My RHD says a lot of the problems are caused by people bringing in their own wireless routers but I don't know why that would effect other wirless connections but then again I am not a computer tech so I have not a clue what's happeneing to it. I feel like the school should invest in fixing the problem because there are a lot of complaints about it all over campus. Even now I'm getting fustrated with the connection because I'm in the office and I wanted to work on sketch up but my laptop has no connection in here and I can't download the program on the office computer. So now I have to wait till I get out of here to work on it which would be around 11 when I'm ready to just relax then go to sleep. Wolfie Net sucks.
