Time and effort

Incentive. Nothing more or less than the mental power to go forward. I love swimming. Competitive swimming, racing the clock and winning. Ive been swimming for the past 13 years. Other than Michael Phelps, the competitive circuit is primarily unknown. Which is strange, because it's one of the largest sports among US youth.

It's not a glorious sport. Morning practice, doubles, 2 to 3 hours in liquid. Its an extremely grueling activity, miles and miles at a time. At least in running you're going full speed AND can breath. Swimming is control of your body, lungs and mind.

I thrive off of beating myself. Coming to as close to perfection as I possibly can. Motivation for human nature is conquering. Money and luck can't buy the competitive spirit. Only time and effort
