Procrastination
There’s always something we’re supposed to do but tomorrow always sounds like a great word to use at times like these. We can just do it later. We have an essay to write but why bother to do a little at a time when we could sit at once and just do it all together at once, right? Not really. The last day always brings about more tension and panic. We get writer’s block and don’t know what to write or something else pops up that we also need to do. Then we end up pulling all nighters. Some people work better under pressure while others just end up messing it all up. We tell ourselves that we’re never going to do this again yet 2 weeks later we end up doing the same thing and panicking once again. It’s not just about college or school related things we procrastinate about. It’s everything. The smallest tasks take us weeks before we get them done. Laziness really knows when to kick in at the wrong times. We never hesitate for the things we want to do like shopping, video games, playing basketball or just hanging out. At one point or another everyone’s done it and everyone’s been through. Some people learn while others just think of it as a normal standard of doing work.
