poker all in?
Poker is becoming a wide sensation these days and its practically what I play everyday with the guys. I love that you can symbolize the luck of the cards to the trials of life. We all start off as equals with the same amount of chips and the same amount of luck. However how does one person end up on top? Is it the devious bluffs or the luck of catching cards? This is something no one can predict the outcome of skill and knowledge and the percentage of odds can benefit someone so long. I like to portray my hands as situations I must defeat. There are times I am hasty or I push too hard and not knowingly I am easily defeated and lost my bet and myself, but late once I've studied my surrounding I prowl and wait for the chance to slowly knock out my competition. I take everything into account, the feeling of a gut shot, the luck of the draw and the sly ways of pretending to have more than I've got. The result is always the same. I reach the final table but then... after facing many different battles I can't seem to risk myself going all in. I guess to me this symbolizes me haven't yet reached a point in my life to go all in. I have yet to come across a situation to give up everything for something I am devoted to.
