Plastic Surgery Going Too Far

Plastic surgery is becoming more and more common by the day. It's getting to the point where it's just down right abusive. With actresses like Heidi Montag strolling around with 10 surgerys done at once you've got to ask yourself what examples our society and its roll models are setting for our younger generation. I hear advertisements on the radio about the "Mommy Makeover" which includes lipo suction, vaginal reconstruction, breast lifts, etc for mothers who have had children and wish to get back to their normal state. I think it's a bit extreme when mothers feel scrutinized and the need to change because they had a baby. It's a natural process, women's bodies are bound to change why try to keep looking like what you're not and just accept what you are. I guess that's a little too hard for some people. Don't get me wrong I understand procedures for health issues, and maybe one for vanity, but several? Lets get real people its just natural for our bodies to age and get older. Another procedure I was surprised to hear was the most popular surgey among men is "Moob reduction" aka man boob reduction. It's not just our women that are living under these ideal body pressure images of society. Our men are beginning to feel the pressure too.
