I cannot believe how heavy it is snowing right now. Long Island lucked out last weekend when we were supposed to get hit hard by another snowstorm. However, our luck ran out last night and it seems like there is no end in sight to the snow. I will admit that I feel relaxed anytime I watch the snow fall, and it brings back childhood memories of sledding, snowball fights, and snowmen. However, now that I am older I think differently. I want to stay indoors and use that time to catch-up on any school work that needs to be finished. I also dread the cleanup process when the snow finally does stop falling.
As I sit here now typing away on my computer while listening to the weather forecast, it seems as if the snow isn’t going to stop until tomorrow morning. Who knows how bad it will be by then. Maybe the school will be closed again tomorrow? We will all just have to stay tuned to the weather.
