My fustration with Google Sketch up

I did not think it was going to be that difficult for me to learn how to use this program. When I looked at professor Baldwin's work on Sketch up, it gave me hope that my work would come out just as nice and detailed as his in my first week using this program. I was terribly wrong. I have all these great visions for my photos and other things but I can't fix it the way I want to on the program. Everytime I start to work at it I would get stuck. Whether it's me putting the picture different places or even properly rotating a model or image is a problem for me. I just figured out how to stretch out an image. That took me two weeks to figure out. So if it took me two weeks to do that imagine how long it's going to take me to make a whole museum. And it's not like I open up the program once a week, I faithfully try to get at least an hour everyday on it because I know I need the time. I know I have to have a little bit more patience but I feel like I give a good try. But I just get so fustrated and I eventually exit out the program. I mean I should have expected this since I am not too fimiliar with the computer. I am one of those people that use the computer only for typing and the internet. But I'm going to keep working at it and hopefullly I will get the hang of it and be designing buildings and such in no time.
