Laziness

As the years go by, our lives are becoming more and more involved with technology. There are so many things we can do without technology yet we persist in using it for practically every little thing. We need to go to the store that’s a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. What do we choose? A 5 minute drive. Why? Because it’s faster, more convenient, and because we’re just plain lazy. Is technology making us more lazy? The answer to this is yes. We have so many more options now than before so we want to take more advantage of every new technology that comes into play in our lives. This is what’s making Americans so lazy and increasing the obesity rate in our country. Is it necessary to take the car for every little instance? No, not really. We need to step outside and breathe the fresh air. We need to take a walk or a take a jog outside. Why go to the gyms where they have treadmills and other machinery for us to do the same exercise that we could in fact do on our on by going to the park. We can save electricity, and gas. We could make our lives so much better and eco friendly yet materialism just cannot leave our lives.
