Jersey Shore

There has been a lot of shows that have influenced our culture and made us think. Seeing that The Jersey Shore is becoming one of them scares me about our future. I mean I don’t mind if people watch it for junk t.v and humor. Its almost the same as reading random magazines for entertainment. But seeing a show become a influence off of...isn’t what I’m hoping to happen. People are now trying to relate themselves to these people and say it’s the best thing to compare to. People in their late 20’s still acting like their in high school and partying for a living isn’t what I would call an influence.

Our society had many types of styles coming in play to inspire the generation. Each year seems to get worse, but now seeing the jersey shore is one of them is hard to believe. It seems that anyone who is important or achieved excellence in life such as movement leaders or a president, it isn’t “cool” to be like that. Our society is now in a “I want it now” kind of world and becoming lazy. I feel there is some hope out there, but it seems materials are better to have and the glamorous life. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind a glamorous life, yet dumbing myself dumb is not how I want to get there.
